UltraVault email archiving is a transparent process, with all incoming and outbound messages automatically stored, including attachments, without the user having to do manually switch on archiving. Once more, UltraVault includes email continuity if anything goes wrong with the email server, allowing users to access and respond to emails up to 90 days old and also new incoming emails. Spam filtering is also included when you purchase UltraVault.
UltraVault email archiving is charged per mailbox, however you need a minimum of FutureSpam (our spam filtering product) across the whole domain. For example, if you have 10 mailboxes on your domain, but you wish to implement UltraVault for only 3 mailboxes, you must purchase FutureSpam for the remaining 7. Alternatively, you could purchase archiving for the full 10 mailboxes.
Only new emails sent and received after the service is activated are archived, existing messages cannot be automatically placed in the archive.
