Following the open beta launch in 2016, Microsoft Teams is now available worldwide on relevant Office 365 service plans. With Microsoft Teams, colleagues can find new ways of working together in ad-hoc, free-flowing groups where chat and creative discussion are encouraged.
Built on underlying Office 365 such as Skype for Business, SharePoint, and Exchange, and with the enterprise-grade security IT departments require, Microsoft Teams is flexible environment which adapts to indvidual organisation’s communication methods and workflows.
Chat and work
The chat-based main work windows provides notifications, threaded, persistent conversations, audio calling from mobile devices (and video on Android — coming soon to iOS), and the option to email a channel with attachments.

Not all working groups in a business are formalised, static environments. Microsoft Teams gives organisations the ability to create fluid groups which come together to work on specific projects.
